Constantine V Copronymus, with Leo IV, 741-775. Solidus (Gold, 21 mm, 4.48 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis, circa 751-757. COҺSTAҺTIҺOS S LЄOҺ O ҺЄOS Crowned equal sized busts of Constantine V, bearded and on the left, and Leo IV, beardless and on the right, facing and wearing chlamys; between their heads, cross and pellet. Rev. C LЄOҺ P A M'Θ Crowned bust of Leo III facing, wearing loros and holding cross potent on base in his right hand. DOC 2g. SB 1551. A very attractive example. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, about extremely fine.
